“Diabolo” Standing Lamp, by Le Corbusier (1887-1965)

LE CORBUSIER (1887-1965) A “Diabolo” Standing Lamp, circa 1963/64. Metal, aluminium and electric elements; Model: LC-100201, and LC-LU-02-A Floor lamp in steel and aluminum. With two lights and two "horn"-type stamped sheet aluminum reflectors joined back to back by an articulating, adjustable arm. One lacquered black reflector and the other, shorter one in red lacquer. The base consists of a tubular central axis black-lacquered iron and stands directly on the floor. Hole with grommet in the lower part to pass the electrical cord through. Rectangular iron rear base. DIMENSION: Height: 86.6 in / 220 cm. (+/-).
