Royal Dutch Navy Dagger M1880

Royal Dutch Navy Dagger M1880 Belonged to the standard equipment of a midshipman in the Royal Dutch Navy. Double edged blade in good condition, showing excellent etchings. The ricasso marked by “P. Mansvelt & Zoon,’s Gravenhage”. With original undamaged white celluloid grip and original gilded bronze sheath (needs to be polished). The crossguard is marked with the unique service number "725". Good used condition. With it’s original belt and gear. Ponjaard Nederlandse Koninklijke Marine, M1880 Verguld messing gevest met korte pareerstang, genummerd '725'. Celluloid greep en messing pommel. Rechte, dubbelsnijdige stalen kling met geëtst decor en gemerkt op de ricasso: “P. Mansvelt & Zoon,’s Gravenhage”. Verguld messing schede met twee draagringen. Lengte: 37,5 cm. (III)
