This visually striking brass table lamps depict the protected sea turtle of the French overseas colony Martinique. Stamped “Macouba” on the bottom, the lamp itself is an elegant rectangle of black lacquered veneer, from which protrudes a large brass sculpted turtle.

Deze visueel opvallende tafellampen van messing beelden de beschermde zeeschildpad van de Franse overzeese kolonie Martinique af. De lamp zelf is een elegante rechthoek van zwart gelakt fineer, met het opschrift "Macouba" op de onderkant, waaruit een grote gebeeldhouwde schildpad van messing steekt.
