Biography:

Anton Heyboer (Sabang, February 9, 1924 – Den Ilp, April 9, 2005) was a Dutch painter and etcher. Many works by him have been acquired by internationally renowned museums in Europe and America, such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Haags Gemeentemuseum, the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Museum van Bommel en van Dam, SFMoMA in San Francisco, The New Orleans Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the British Museum and Tate Gallery in London, the Haifa Museum of Art in Israel, MuHKA in Antwerp, the Ohara Museum of Art in Japan, and many other museums at home and abroad.
