Has been in the same family since before 1940.

The paintings has been inspected by the former Curator of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, Mr. Scheurleer. Scheurleer concluded this work has been made by two students of Rubens. The women made by one student, The figure of Jesus Christ by another.
