A continental brass microscope engraved on the base "E. Leitz, Wetzlar no 26831", with rack & pinion course and micrometer thumbwheel fine focussing. The microscope comes with 3 objectives, 2 oculars and a triple rotating nosepiece, square shaped stage, all mounted on a single brass pillar above a ""Y"" shaped foot, with original mahogany case with accessories mounted on the inside, the case with brass handle, hinges, and lock."
