Signed with monogram lower right.
Netherlands, mid-20th century.
Rectangular ceramic plaque in relief, depicting Christ with outstretched arms showing the Sacred Heart on His chest, rays of light emanating from a cruciform halo behind His head. The background features stylised motifs of wheat and vine, with two deer drinking at a stream near His feet. Executed in warm cream tones with gilded accents to the halo and heart. Monogrammed by the artist in the lower right corner.

Rechthoekige reliëfplaquette van keramiek, voorstellende Christus met uitgespreide armen en het Heilig Hart op de borst, omgeven door lichtstralen uit een kruisvormige stralenkrans achter het hoofd. Op de achtergrond gestileerde motieven van graan en wijnrank, met twee herten die drinken uit een stroom bij Zijn voeten. Uitgevoerd in warme crèmetinten met vergulde accenten op nimbus en hart. Rechtsonder gemonogrammeerd door de kunstenaar.
