Henri Charles (Harrie) Jonas (1878–1944) was a Dutch artist and stained-glass designer from Maastricht. A graduate of the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, Jonas became known for his expressive religious works, especially stained glass commissions for churches throughout Limburg. His signature style includes elongated figures, vivid yet balanced color contrasts, and a strong spiritual presence. This panel likely dates to the 1930s, when Jonas was active designing windows for ecclesiastical buildings. His stained-glass designs remain important examples of Dutch liturgical art between the wars.
