Porcelain Figure of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Vieux Bruxelles

Standing figure of the Virgin Mary depicting the Immaculate Heart, executed in glazed porcelain with hand-painted polychrome decoration. The figure wears a cream-coloured robe adorned with floral motifs, and a violet drapery with gilt detailing. She displays the flaming heart motif to her chest, symbolising divine love and compassion. The base features moulded scrollwork with gilt highlights. Impressed maker's mark to the reverse.

Staand beeld van de Maagd Maria met voorstelling van het Onbevlekt Hart, uitgevoerd in geglazuurd porselein met handgeschilderde polychrome decoratie. Maria draagt een crèmekleurig gewaad met bloemmotieven en een violetkleurige mantel met vergulde accenten. Op de borst toont zij het vlammend hart, symbool van goddelijke liefde en mededogen. De voet is voorzien van rolwerk in reliëf met vergulde details. Achterzijde gemerkt met geperst fabrieksmerk.
