Note:
Andries Dirk Copier (1901–1991) was one of the most influential Dutch glass designers of the 20th century. As principal designer at Glasfabriek Leerdam, he introduced a functional yet elegant style that shaped Dutch modernist glassmaking. His designs, including ribbed vases such as this example, exemplify the fusion of craftsmanship and industrial clarity that marked the Leerdam aesthetic during the interwar period. Copier's work is widely collected and exhibited in major design museums.
