Art Deco vaas in geëtst cameo glas met buikig lichaam op een geprofileerde voet. Uitgevoerd in meerlagig glas met een crèmekleurige ondergrond en oranje decor in reliëf, voorstellende hangende bessenranken. De decoratieve motieven lopen elegant van de hals tot aan de voet en zijn kenmerkend voor de stilering en het kleurgebruik van Le Verre Français.

Art Deco vase in acid-etched cameo glass with a bulbous body and flared foot. Made of layered glass with a creamy ground and raised orange decoration depicting cascading berry clusters. The stylised motif flows gracefully from the neck to the base, characteristic of Le Verre Français' distinctive approach to colour and design.

Le Verre Français was the prestigious art glass line produced by Charles Schneider in Épinay-sur-Seine between 1918 and the early 1930s. Known for its vibrant colours, multi-layered construction, and nature-inspired motifs etched in relief, each piece was made in limited quantities. This vase, with its stylised berry motif, exemplifies the refined balance between elegance and graphic strength that defined the studio’s Art Deco aesthetic.
