Art Deco vaas in balustervorm, vervaardigd in geëtst cameo glas. Het lichaam toont een levendige oranje en gele ondergrond met een gestileerd bloemmotief in diep rood reliëf. De sierlijke, opgaande stelen en dicht gegroepeerde bloemtrossen rijzen op uit een decor van langgerekte bladeren en vormen een harmonieus geheel van lijn en kleurcontrast. Geplaatst op een ronde voet in gemarmerd bordeauxrood glas. Gesigneerd Le Verre Français in cursief schrift op de voet.

Baluster-shaped Art Deco vase in acid-etched cameo glass, featuring a vivid orange and yellow ground with a stylised floral motif in deep red relief. The elongated stems and densely grouped blossoms rise from a base of tall leaves and tapering form, blending elegant line with bold colour contrast. Raised on a circular foot in mottled burgundy. Signed Le Verre Français in script to the foot.

Le Verre Français was the high-end decorative glass line developed by Charles Schneider in Épinay-sur-Seine between 1918 and the early 1930s. Schneider pioneered a distinct fusion of Art Nouveau techniques with the emerging Art Deco aesthetic, using layered and acid-etched glass to create vivid naturalistic patterns. This example, with its rhythmic floral design and brilliant colour palette, demonstrates the studio’s signature approach to form, ornament, and craftsmanship.
