Polychrome Porcelain Figure of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Vieux Bruxelles

Standing figure of Christ pointing to the Sacred Heart on his chest, modelled in glazed porcelain with hand-painted polychrome decoration and extensive gilt detailing. Christ wears a cream-coloured robe adorned with small floral sprigs and a pastel blue cloak with gilt edging. The Sacred Heart is painted in burnished gold with radiating rays and surmounted by a flame. The octagonal pedestal is decorated with raised and painted gilt floral borders.

Staand beeld van Christus, wijzend naar het Heilig Hart op de borst, uitgevoerd in geglazuurd porselein met handgeschilderde polychrome decoratie en uitgebreide vergulding. Christus draagt een crèmekleurig gewaad met kleine bloemtakjes en een pastelblauwe mantel met vergulde rand. Het Heilig Hart is uitgevoerd in glanzend goud, met stralenkrans en vlam. De achthoekige voet is versierd met verhoogde en beschilderde vergulde bloemenranden.
