Depicting the crowned Virgin Mary in regal attire, standing with the Christ Child on her arm. She wears a red gown with voluminous sleeves and a green mantle trimmed in gold. The Christ Child holds a globe surmounted by a cross and raises His hand in blessing. Beneath them, a serpent are crushed underfoot, symbolising triumph over sin and evil. The figures are set against a softly illuminated neutral background, with delicate impasto and gilded highlights accentuating the textile folds and royal attributes.

De gekroonde Maagd Maria in koninklijk gewaad, staand met het Christuskind op haar arm. Zij draagt een rood kleed met wijde mouwen en een groen met goud afgezet mantel. Het Kind houdt een wereldbol met kruis vast en heft de hand in zegenend gebaar. Onder hun voeten wordt een slang verpletterd, symbool voor de overwinning op zonde en kwaad. De figuren staan tegen een zacht belichte neutrale achtergrond, met fijn impasto en vergulde accenten die de stofuitwerking en vorstelijke attributen benadrukken.
