The recto remains in excellent condition, displaying a vivid and brilliant image, while the verso shows traces of handling consistent with its use in the printing process.

Cromalin proofs, once an essential part of the traditional photogravure process, have become rare since the advent of digital printing. Their exceptional color depth and photographic quality make them highly sought-after.
