German Pickelhaube for Infantry Regiment, M1860 The helmet manufactured from boiled and black lacquered leather, crowned with a large bronze spike, bronze rear spine and leather neckguard. The front of the ‘Pickelhaube’ decorated with a stamped bronze alloy front plate with the coat of arms (‘wappen’) of Prussia. Fitted on the helmet with looped/stirrup type attaching nuts. Bronze chin-scales attached with cockades. Duitse ‘Pickelhaube’ voor Infanterie Regiment, M1860 Bolle zwart lederen helm met nekbescherming, messing piek en messing embleem van de Pruisische Rijksadelaar. Met geschubde messing kinband en zwartlederen binnenwerk. Hoogte: 29 cm. [II] V
