It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear colleague and business partner, Mrs. Javitri Shah.
She joined Hessink’s in 2018 in the department of Indian Art as a specialist and since 2020 as partner in the Indian Jewellery, and Indian Contemporary Art department. She was an astute businesswoman and highly accomplished Indian Art and Jewellery specialist.
We are deeply sorry for the loss of this incredible woman who touched the lives of not just us, but of our clients as well. A loss that will be greatly felt throughout the artworld and to all who knew her.
We also would like to express our deepest condolences to her family, who have lost a rare and most special person this world so rarely offers. A kind soul that enlightens the hearts of any and all that meet them.
