A bronze Shiva Linga, Northern India, 19th century AD.
A bronze Shiva Linga of conical shape with rosette to the top, three crescent moons to the front. To the back a cobra spreading its hood protectively over the Linga. The Linga resting on a oval Yoni with petal pattern around the base of the Linga. Below the Yoni the shaft of the Linga sits on a decorative base with rosettes to the side, resting on three feet.
