A painting of a Mughal noble lady, Mughal School, Northern India, 17th – 18th century AD
A painting of a noble lady wearing a white dress with pale blue flower motif. Head scarf tied in an elaborate knot holding in place hair pulled back. Wearing earrings and a pearl necklace with jewel drop, purple sash over the shoulder with flower pattern, dark blue belt to waist with small dagger suspended. Holding a large peacock feather fan in the left hand. Flowers to either side.
