Many Georgian artist have received international recognitions over the past ten years and sold their works with various reputed auction houses, however their works were sold as part of Russian art sales or sales combined with works of other artists. Hessink's, in Association with Treasurium Art Gallery, have created a special Modern & Contemporary Georgian Art Department, which will hold two sales annually, for the purpose of bringing greater awareness to these highly gifted artists, to the international art market.
